In the thrilling countdown to the highly anticipated Toowoomba Fashion Festival, the air of anticipation thickened as four beautiful models gathered in the Garden City on Monday, February 5th, for an exclusive photoshoot with Style Magazines Toowoomba.
Against the background of Toowoomba’s scenic beauty, models were dressed head-to-toe in locally-crafted designs, showcasing brands such as Glam Cartel, Stirling & Truffles, The Linen Chest, Wirra Designs, and Lilly Pilly Boutique. These designers and local boutiques, alongside numerous others, are poised to take centre stage at the forthcoming fashion extravaganza in March. They offer a tantalizing preview of Toowoomba’s distinct style.
In the Garden City, beauty unfurls at every turn, and each frame captured on this memorable day serves as a radiant testament to the city’s enchanting nature. Alongside the outfit changes and flashing cameras, we took the opportunity to delve into conversations with each of the models. Our aim was to gain deeper insight into their personal stories and understand what drew them to the world of modeling.

The Beautiful Biliana Negrine
When it comes to commanding the runway, Biliana Negrine elegantly takes centre stage. With a magnetic charm and captivating personality, Biliana effortlessly draws the gaze of all who behold her, radiating beauty from within. A natural in front of the camera, she exudes confidence and grace.
Hailing from the sun-kissed shores of the Gold Coast, Queensland, Biliana embarked on her modeling journey relatively recently, following a life-altering conversation with a friend at the gym. Prior to her foray into the world of fashion, Biliana adorned the stage as a cabaret showgirl and danced with fervor, mastering the art of Samba, Lambada, and teaching Latin Dancing.
For Biliana, modeling represents more than just striking poses — it’s a passionate extension of her performance abilities honed over years of dancing.

The Talented Jarrod Montoro
During the auditions for the Garden City’s inaugural Fashion Festival, Jarrod Montoro mesmerized the judges with his captivating presence on the catwalk. His exceptional talent for embodying poise inevitably captures the gaze of all observers. The judges felt compelled to feature him on the runways of Toowoomba.
Being the sole male representative for the Toowoomba Fashion Festival photoshoot, Jarrod exuded a subtle sexiness in his demeanor, accentuated by a stylish leather brace crafted by Stirling and Truffles. Jarrod’s background as a dancer, primarily in classical jazz, further adds depth to his stage presence. His innate sense of rhythm will undoubtedly contribute to his performance on the runway.
When asked about his shift from the stage to the catwalk, Jarrod attributed his decision to pursue modeling to his deep-rooted love for movement. As a model, he effortlessly integrates creativity, a passion for fashion, and his background in dance, resulting in a seamless fusion of all his passions.

The Empowering Emma Hartwig
Emma Hartwig’s journey into the world of modeling ignites with a fiery passion for creativity and the opportunity to express herself artstically. As a proud advocate for body positivity, Emma boldly embraces her role as a curvy model, challenging the status quo of beauty norms and paving the way for greater inclusivity within the industry. Watching her confidently stride down the catwalk during the Toowoomba model casting felt like witnessing a flower blossoming amidst a field of seasoned professionals.
With an impressive social media following of over 380,000 and counting, Chelsea Mayer has an undeniably enchanting presence infront of the camera. She has graced the runways of prestigious events like the Gold Coast Fashion Project and currently models for Sunshine Coast-based brand, Coast Girl Fashion.
Chelsea’s ambition knows no bounds, and her determination to succeed in the fashion industry is unmatched. With unwavering focus and dedication, she is poised to carve out a long and illustrious career in fashion.
